Magnifique séjour passé au domaine de Labrousse où Annie et Gilles nous ont accueilli aux petits oignons! La maison et les chambres sont à la fois magnifiques et cosy et le petit déjeuner et dîner excellentissimes !! Difficile de quitter ce petit havre de paix qui fait maintenant partie des mes stops incontournables en Dordogne🥰

Un lieu magnifique avec des hôtes adorables et passionnants. Quant à la table d'hôtes et le petit déjeuner, ils sont divins. Je recommande chaudement ce lieu.

The location was so peaceful, in the middle of the French countryside. The hotel - it was more like a home from home - is quite superb having been lovingly restored by the owners, Annie and Gilles. There is a lovely lounge with books galore and a piano if you fancy a tickle of the ivories. The bedroom we had was lovely - brick floors in both the bedroom and bathroom - including the shower - a comfortable bed and door out onto our own terrace with two chairs and a table - perfect gift star gazing in the unpolluted skies. There is a gorgeous swimming pool across a small field which was pure luxury. Throughout the hotel there is beautiful artwork, created by the owner's father. This included a lovely mosaic by the pool - wow.|In the gardens outside the hotel is a shady sitting area with tables and chairs where we are later on.|We read the reviews and decided to dine at the hotel - it's quite a distance from Perigueux. The food was nothing short of fabulous, cooked and served by Gilles. It was absolutely outstanding. We were joined at the table by a German family and a French couple which made for a fantastic evening and the food that we ate was the best we have had on our french trips. |If all that wasn't enough breakfast next morning was served at a time requested by us. Muesli, yoghurt, fruit, bread, preserves and the highlight - scrambled egg! Coffee was fast flowing and finished off an altogether fabulous stay. |Mention must be made of our hosts Annie and Gilles who really couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. |If you are in the area staying here it's a no-brainer - get booking. However please don't stay when we are next in the area as we will want a room and don't want to find out it's fully booked!|

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern (5 und 7 Jahre) zwei unvergessliche Tage bei Annie & Gilles in der Domaine de Labrousse verbracht – und wären am liebsten länger geblieben!||Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, mit ganz viel Aufmerksamkeit und Wärme. Annie & Gilles sind einfach wunderbare Gastgeber, bei denen man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr stilvoll und mit viel Gefühl für Details gestaltet.||Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt, wir konnten herrlich entspannen – und am Abend wurde es noch besser: Gilles hat für alle Gäste ein exzellentes 3-Gänge-Menü gekocht, das wir gemeinsam mit einem Aperitif und gutem Wein an einer langen Tafel genossen haben. Das Essen war fantastisch – lokal, saisonal und mit echter Leidenschaft zubereitet.||Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Weinen und Getränken, und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt – auch auf die Kinder wurde dabei sehr liebevoll eingegangen. Am nächsten Morgen gab es ein wunderbares französisches Frühstück mit selbstgemachter Marmelade, frischem Baguette, Croissants und vielem mehr.|Besonders schön: Die Weine, die man abends probiert, kann man zu Selbstkostenpreisen direkt mitnehmen.||Wer Ruhe, Gastfreundschaft, Genuss und echtes Miteinander sucht – ist hier genau richtig. Wir sind dankbar für diese schöne Erfahrung und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!||Merci Annie & Gilles!
